AG Memorial Van Damme: chasing that final diamond!
While some of our team are in Zurich for the Weltklasse meeting, our specialist Simone Collio has set off for Brussels to provide support for athletes taking part in the last stage of the Diamond League circuit.
25 disciplines over two days brought alive the King Baudouin Stadium, engaging us in the crowning event of the last championships for world athletics in 2018.
Once again, our therapist had a diary packed with appointments, but with the speed of a mind-blowing sprinter, he managed to complete 25 treatment sessions with 13 top class athletes, achieving amazing results. For this reason we want to congratulate Sergey Shubenkov, gold in the 110m hurdles, Baker Ronnie, silver in the 100m, Christian Taylor, silver in the triple jump and Shara Proctor, silver in the long jump.
All these athletes are very talented, but a natural gift is not enough! To become champions and enter the world athletics hall of fame, you need constancy in training and good physical and mental preparation. By teaming its application programmes with athletes’ seasonal training, WINTECARE aims to support their physical wellbeing and prevent inflammation/accidents so that they can obtain maximum results during the season.
A passion for our work and sustained commitment over the past year has led to new collaboration partnerships and collection of important data that allows us to close this season on a high note. We will obviously not be resting on our laurels however! We intend to work hard in order to achieve even better results in the season to come.
